What you're getting

ChiliPaste is a macOS menu bar app that manages your clipboard history. The free version is fully functional. A one-time purchase unlocks additional features including unlimited history and the ability to paste files directly from folders of your choosing.

Your license

When you buy a license, you can install and use ChiliPaste on up to two Macs that you own. The license is yours to keep — it doesn't expire. Please don't share your license key with others.

Refunds

Refunds can be requested within 14 days of purchase through our payment provider. We're a small operation and each transaction has a cost to us, so we ask that you consider your purchase carefully. We genuinely hope you'll love ChiliPaste, but if it's not for you, the refund process is straightforward.

Your data

Your clipboard history stays on your Mac. We never see it and it never leaves your device. While ChiliPaste listens for keyboard events to function, it does not log your typing or anything beyond capturing the events needed to trigger copying and pasting. Any features — now or in the future — that involve accessing the internet beyond automatic updates and license key checks will be described in release notes and made optional.

When you download the app, we log the download anonymously — no personal information, just basic stats like country and referral source so we know how people find us.

If you buy a license, your email address is collected by our payment processor to deliver your key and receipt. We don't store your payment details. All data we collect is anonymised. Any personal data held by Son of a Bjork AB is limited to what arises from direct communication between us and you as a customer.

These terms are governed by Swedish law, which incorporates strict European legislation — including but not limited to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) — governing how personal data is collected, stored, and used.

No warranty

ChiliPaste is provided as-is. We do our best to keep it working well, but we can't guarantee it'll be compatible with every app or every future macOS update. Our liability is limited to what you paid.
